I’m Tim Longo and welcome to my online portfolio.
I’m a live-action storyboard artist and previsualization consultant based in Orange County, California. I specialize in B&W shooting boards for narrative films and television, while working on commercials in between. I've been storyboarding professionally for over a decade and have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I'm an avid movie lover and consider movies and filmmaking to be my second language.
I began in the industry working on-set as an assistant cameraman in Cleveland, Ohio (my hometown) and then Los Angeles, before ultimately deciding my calling was in pre-production as a storyboard artist. I utilize my strong understanding of the technical side of filmmaking and the tools that go into creating the shot to inform my storyboarding thought process. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Video Production & Theory and have also trained at The Animation Guild in Burbank under Disney Master Instructors Karl Gnass and Mark McDonnell.
When I’m not drawing or watching movies, my favorite things include spending time with my wife and son, yoga, cooking, hiking, french press coffee, snowboarding, surfing, delicious breakfast burritos, and traveling to new cities and countries. I'm very passionate about what I do and am always looking for ways to better my work.
Please contact by email or phone with any questions or just to discuss your project.
